Saddened to learn of Gary´s passing. Consummate ptofesdional and one of the best local amateur athletes I´ve had the privilege of knowing. Though it has been almost 50 years, he is remembered with respect. My belated condolences to his family & friends. Scott McCann - Tennessee

I still miss him. He was an energetic, upbeat guy who it always was a pleasure to be with.

I was so shocked and sad to hear of Gary's passing. I loved that guy and he was such a big influence at an early stage of my career that formed me into the person I am today. My deepest condolences and sympathies.

I knew Gary well. We competed against each other growing up in Kenmore. I was saddened to hear of his passing. A great guy and I know he will be missed by family and friends Dale

I am Bob Knapp's Aunt. I just wanted to let you know that Bob always spoke so highly of Gary, that I felt like I knew him my self. He was apparently an extra special person and I know will be missed greatly by my nephew and I'm sure everyone who knew him. My prayers and thoughts are with you .

So sorry to hear of Gary´s passing. Him and my brother Tony Spada have been friends since grammar school and I remember Gary well. I hope God will give you peace in your hearts. Remember all the great times.
