Not sure what to say?

I literally just stumbled upon this. Gary and Violet loved on us during our time at College Avenue Baptist in San Diego in the 90s. My husband was an active duty Marine. I remember spending Thanksgiving at the Strikes house. Such a loving couple.

Thinking of you today Gary. You're influence in my life and countless others continues to bear witness for Christ four years after your passing. Thank you for modeling strength in weakness and for walking humbly before God. Your witness continues to challenge me.

Sorry to read about Gary's passing it was a bit of a shock to me as you will see my name below. You may wish to google, garystrike Carleton place.

My cousin, who I was in awe of when we played together over 50 years ago. I remember you being gentle & cool! Lots of treasured memories in my heart. We have a lot of family in Heaven, I know it will be perfect. So, my friend, we'll reconnect when I get there.
All my love,
