Gary Strong

Seeing Gary was always like walking into a sunny, bluebird sky day. He was a joy to know and the world is dimmer without his bright nature to lighten it.

Gary could play the ever living hell out of the drums, and did for Karen and me many times with a musician's smile on his face and in his eyes. It was good everytime, and we will miss that.

I met Gary in S'port when he and Suzi drove by Chuck's and my rental house on Creswell, back in '81. We shared many good times. I've got scars to prove it! Like when Gary/Jerry/Jimmy laughed so hard after Jessica's wedding, he bonked my head by my eyebrow. Everyday when I look in the mirror, I see my scar and think of Gary. To the Strong family,

I was sad to hear about Gary's passing. Even though it's been years since we've seen each other, please know that Gary and the entire Strong family will forever remain our neighbors. I have only the fondest memories when you lived in Shreveport. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Gary.

Gary was a very special person in my life, well I should say a lot of peoples life. I knew Gary-or Gary knew me- when I was in diapers. He was a wonderful man and he will be dearly missed. He is with the angels and he is playing his music for the whole world to hear and I love you and always will. peace. Heidi

I was supposed to go fishing with Gary and my brother Robin the day after he went missing from our lives.
