Gary L. Templin, Sr. Gary L. "Big Daddy" Templin, Sr., 52 of Elizabethtown, died on Friday, December 14, 2007 at Hershey Medical Center. Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Leroy and Ruth Longe-necker Templin. He was the beloved partner and companion of Chickie M. Dowhower. ...
My heart goes out to Jr and the whole Templin family. I work for Valley Pools and although I didn't know Gary very well, he is a legend in my world. He will be missed by many people. God Bless.

My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to the Templin Family at this sad time. A sudden loss like that at the holidays is not easy I'm sure. Hold your memories dear to your hearts.

Family & Friends of "Big Daddy," We were so saddened on Friday evening to learn of Gary's passing. It was a shocking reminder that life is too short and that only the good die young. I am certain "BD" is in heaven with his angel wings by now cooking up a feast! He has so many people there to cook for as he did here as well. Things will never be the same without his humor and love for others. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Ken & Amy

Hey Uncle Butch, I will miss you very much. Sorry I can't make it up, but know that I'm there in spirit. God gave all of us that knew you a special gift. Not everyone has visions like you. I pray that you have a special reunion with all those you have loved and missed over the years. I love you.

Hey Butch, I missed the times when we were kids and you, Jim, Barb and I would play doctors and use Pat's crochet needles as real needles and stab the heck out of Rick and Sue. I also missed the times and seeing young Dunkleberger falling in the crap hole in the back yard and was covered with you know what screaming help me out!!! The times we spent together as kids was really great. I enjoyed the times you came down for Mom's last hospitalization and watching that humungous smile that...
