Not sure what to say?

Have so many memories of Gary with my dad, mom, Kenny up in Ligonier when I was young. He will forever be remembered by so many. Joanne and your family, you have our very deepest sympathy in his loss. We will keep you in our prayers. Love, Crickett and Scotty

When I first became a trooper I inherited Gary's "undercover" role and his undercover vehicle. Also stationed at PSP Greensburg, I was often mistaken for & referred to as "Thistlethwaite"...Gary and I grew up in Greene County and I am friends with His brother "Rick"....also my wife and I met his other brother at Century Inn recently! Great family & sorry for your lose!

I was truly saddened to hear of his passing. He was one of the most decent, regular guys I ever met. He should have been sheriff, as he was an exemplary law enforcement officer and would have led the office with integrity.

I worked with Gary at Greensburg in the early part of my career and the latter stages of his. Great guy. One of the few "older guys" always willing to help out a young kid. Grateful for the time I got to work with him. My condolences to his family.

So very sorry for your loss. He was a great person and cousin that I always enjoyed spending time with. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I´m very sorry to hear of Gary´s passing. I worked with Gary in Troop A Greensburg from 1988 until his retirement. Always had a smile & kind words! May he Rest in Peace.

Joann, I am so saddened to hear of Gary´s passing. May your memories comfort you in this he days ahead

Dear Joann, I´m so sorry to hear of your husband´s passing. He will always be in your heart. Take care of yourself.

Very sorry to hear of Gary's passing; we worked together on Midnight Shift in Troop A Greensburg during my time as a Trooper there from 1982-1987, and always enjoyed his company and sense of humor. RIP, brother.
