Not sure what to say?

Dear Betty and family, having just learned of Garys passing,I wish to send my condolences and regrets. Thinking back to East High days as fellow athletes and days at WSU as fraternity brothers bring many wonderful memories. Gary will be sorely missed by all and we wish you and the family all Gods blessing.

A classmate, fraternity brother and a true friend who will never be forgotten. I often told people that Gary was one of the few personalities I ever knew that was equally liked by men and women. In that respect he was definitely one of a kind.
My condolences to all of the family.

Dear Betty,Laurie, Paul and Cory; The feelings of sadness, not only for you, but for his extended family and friends, is too deep to put into words. Just know that you are in our, hearts, thoughts and prayers.

Whoever is and was a coach for WSU's basketball team is always a fine gentleman

Laurel and Paul, my deepest sympathies to you and your family as I remember your Dad and our early years.
Rogie Harter Spon (Chicago, Illinois)

You had the right idea for the game. Down the court via the sideline then into the middle and then to a baseline shot. A very true play maker who gave WSU its all. A clean program that gave the Shockers a continued program.

Farewell Coach.

Gene Stevens Freshman class of 65&66.
