Saul Colonial Home Obituary

Gary Joseph Monroe Troxel, 22, of New Egypt, NJ, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ. Born in Trenton, NJ, Gary worked as a dedicated construction worker for Quality Concrete Cutting. He loved listening to music, going to the gym, making people laugh and most of all loved spending time with his family. His smile was contagious and had a big, caring heart of gold. He overcame a lot of struggles and never gave up. Gary took pride and was determined in helping people in any way he could. "One day at a time" was his motivation. Predeceased by paternal grandparents, Marvin and Lorelei Troxel, his maternal grandfather, Irwin Hunsher; he is survived by his parents, Gary M. and June Troxel; his twin sister, Lindsey Troxel, sister, Janine Troxel; his girlfriend, Kalli Yesuvida and her family; his grandmother, Rachel Hunsher; his aunts and uncles, Donna Smith, Lori Troxel, Mark (Susan) Troxel, Lisa (Billy) Cole; his cousins, Sara, Gracelin, Caylee, Corrine, Tyler, Brielle, Derek, Andrea, Lauren and Kelly; his boss, John Wolfe; his co-workers; his beloved animals, Sonnie and Luke; and many extended family and friends. Funeral services are private. Memorial contributions may be made in Gary's memory to CFC Loud N Clear Foundation (Lynn and Daniel Reagan) by visiting In Memory Of at www.inmemoryof-memorial.org. The family asks if you have a special photo or memory of your time spent with Gary to please send this to his family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.

Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to read this. I was going through my Dad's files (Robert Misner) and found Gary Joseph Monroe's birth announcement (along with Lindsey Marie). I just was looking him up to connect with distant relatives. (Relatives were special to my Dad - his Aunt Ruth married Shirley Monroe Troxel). Gary had such an innocent and kind face even as an infant. So sorry for your loss. Heaven gained a kind soul.

I am so sorry for the tragedies that have made your family suffer for so long. Life should be more fair. I pray that Allah has mercy on your son's soul. Your AHS classmate, Janet (Gawenus) Barclay

I'm so sorry for this tragic loss my friend and long ago neighbor.... my heart hurts for your family and I will pray that God gives you the garage to get through this very difficult time..
