To Theresa and the entire Truitt family, please accept my deepest condolences on Gary's passing. I was very saddened when I read this.
Gary and I worked together, off and on, for over 20 years. He was my Property Room Officer at Lakeland Correctional Facility in Coldwater and then became one of our Transportation Agents.
He was an outstanding Officer, and a Good and Honest Man. He reminded me of his father whom I also worked for.

I knew Gary from the prison and his time working the ambulance service. I ran into him occasionally and we always spoke. I followed his travels since his retirement. He will be missed by many.
