I miss him so much, he lit up a room when he would walk in. He helped me through some very rough times that I didn´t think I would make it through. His big bear hugs were like no other. I will see you again someday,

Elaine and family, I was a teenager in Maurice when you were there. Pastor Van Koevering was very instrumental in my faith and walk with Jesus. He also was a big part of my Dad (Bill Korver) and Don Lehman's hunting and fishing life and a great example to them. May God's peace be with you.

A simple memory that meant so much to us: Pastor Gary was our pastor at 1st Reformed, Fremont, and we had just had our second child, who had some breathing issues after birth and needed to be transferred to Neo-natal in G.R. They would not let me go with the baby in the ambulance and told me I would have to stay behind and heal at Gerber Hospital, since I was not the patient. This was such a stressful time and we just wanted to be with our baby. Pastor Gary volunteered, without...

I grew up with Gary and Elaine. Gary was a neighbor of ours when I was a kid and one of my babysitters. He also married my husband and I. Gary and Elaine are a very special couple. I was so sorry to hear of Gary's passing. Elaine, Kurt and Kara you are all in my thoughts and prayers. So very sorry for your loss.

We are So sorry for your loss to the entire family. Gary was an amazing man and loved everyone he came into contact with. He would always have hugs and smiles for our entire family when we were younger and attending Fair Haven. He and my dad got along very well as they were very similar in caring for others!
