Not sure what to say?

You have been so missed this past year. We missed you at the family functions; your great nieces wedding, the holidays and the family reunion just to mention a few. We feel your presence everywhere and we really appreciate the help you have offered us. Will miss you always UNC!!

I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. I am sorry I was unable to attend the calling hours as I just had knee replacement surgery. He was a good man. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Vardon family, please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of your beloved husband, father and uncle.

Virginia I was so very sorry to hear about Gary,he was one of the nice men in the water class. I just love to kid around with him. We are in Fla. till April . We will be praying for you and your family.

Dear Virginia Valerie & Kristine...words of loss seem empty compared to Gary's love of life: so large. A good Father Friend Husband & Grandfather. We all enjoyed his zest for life & are better off for having known him. We share in your loss & send our love & prayers.

We were saddened to hear of Gary's passing. We didn't know him very well, but when we first met him several years ago he made us feel so welcome, like we had known each other forever. He was so easy to be with and so much fun to be around. Our thoughts and prayers to Virginia and family. He will be missed.

Dear Virginia & family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed you guys in the Y swim class. Gary was always down at the deep end where I swam. He was such a great guy - always a smile on his face and always something nice to say. I watched the memorial video - it was beautiful. He will be missed by a lot of people. Such a fine gentleman! I only knew you guys for a short time, but it was my pleasure and you are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care.

Virgina, Kristine and Valerie - I am so saddened to hear Gary is gone. I was honored to work with him for many years. He made me welcome from the first day I worked in the Parks Department. His good humor, honest work ethic, and the joy he brought to us every day made my job a pleasure. It didn't matter how miserable the weather or the job was - he made us all laugh and look at the bright side, and before we knew it, it was the end of the day. He was one of those people who walked into...

Gary & I shared adventures and laughter working for Akron Parks. I'm sorry that I will not be able to give my condolences in person.
