Not sure what to say?

Hi Gary Webb This is Yanique Lygia Webb. We need you here with us. 9293125877

Gary was an incredible person and I'll remember the kindness and warmth of his friendship forever. And every time I ride my motorcycle, I'll think if him and how he helped me get in touch with my inner motorcycle mama.

Mike and Nancy were Gary's next door neighbors when he first bought his house in Carmichael. We moved several months after Gary moved in. During the short time we knew him, he was a terrific guy and a great neighbor. We were very saddened to hear of his death. We wish his family well during this tragic time.

Gary was a colleague at The Plain Dealer whose demise saddens all who knew him. In journalism and as a legislative investigator, Gary stood up for the victims of abuse by government, organizations and individuals. His voice will be missed.

I also knew Gary from his Plain Dealer years. He was intelligent, witty and tenacious. A great watchdog for the little guy.

I remember Gary from The Plain Dealer days. In addition to being a terrific reporter, he was a nice guy.

My condolences to the Webb Family and Gary's friends and associates. American journalism has lost a terrific reporter.

Sincerely,
Maureen A. Griswold
