Not sure what to say?

Gary Weidner was my 8th grade American History teacher, and a relative through marriage. He was a teacher who gave me a love of history that I never have lost, and taught me many things that I used in my own classroom at Magsig Middle School. He was energetic, inspiring and a positive role model in so many ways; I will remember him with great respect and appreciation as long as I live.

To Gary's Family ~
Rich and I send our special thoughts and prayers to you. We have stayed in touch with Gary since graduation and throughout our various moves across the country. And we have only fond memories of "dear ole CHS" and Gary's many contributions to make it a great high school. We will miss his Christmas greetings and update notes inbetween!
Rich and Susan (Erickson) Helms (Class of 1967)

We all have teachers from our past that we refer to as having an impact on our lives and certainly Gary had a huge impact on many of his students. But Gary was more than a teacher to many of his students. There are several of us that will remember him as a good friend. He was an inspiration to many and he will be missed by many.

Richard and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Thank you for sharing Gary with us all in our "formative years" and beyond! May we all pass his love and passion for people on to others as we live our lives from this time forward. May God comfort you and give you strength in the times ahead. And thank you, "DUBBS", forever!

Dear Dick, please accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss. Gary was a wonderful guy and he will be missed by all of us who were lucky enough to know him as an educator and as a friend. I am so glad I was able to see him this summer and will remember him so fondly. Sincerely,

Richard,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. Gary was a special person who touched the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him. He will be greatly missed.

Richard, Peace be with you and your family.

Dick....so sorry to hear of Gary's passing. I will always remember our telephone conversation a few months back and how optimist he was. He will be missed by the Arcanum Class of 1953 but will always be with us in spirit.

Dick,

We're so sorry to hear of the loss of your brother and great friend Gary. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.

Sincerely Yours,

Dick and Nadine
