Not sure what to say?

Elaine, I was deeply saddened to learn of Gary's passing. We worked closely together for a decade, and Gary always brought passion, conviction and a welcome sense of humor to our efforts. I will remember him not just as a respected colleague, but mostly as a good man and a good friend. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Elaine, I was so shocked to hear about Gary. He was a great guy to work with. I think my fondest memory of him is that he could recall a date that he sent someone a letter or memo that was years in the past. He would say something like, "I think it was around August 3rd four years ago." We would look, and there it was as if he had just put it there. We laughed about those things in the office from time to time. My thoughts and prayers are with you Tracey and Chad in this sorrowful time.

Elaine, I worked at the Minneapolis Fed and served with Gary on the Savings Bond Task Force. Gary was so easy to work with and always congenial. I was very sorry to hear he had passed away. You have my deepest sympathies.

Elaine,

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hello,

My dad, Siegfried Bochmann, worked at the Federal Reserve Bank in Buffalo and retired in 1977. Gary was my dad's boss before my dad retired in 1980. I want you to know that my dad had the utmost respect for Gary and enjoyed working with him. I met Gary once many years ago. My sincere sympathy is with you at this time of sadness.

Sincerely,

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. I worked with Gary during the last few years of his Fed career. He was so warm and caring toward me, I thought of him as my "Fed Dad." Gary was a special person and I will never forget him.

I was very sorry to hear about Gary's passing. I work at the Pittsburgh Branch, Federal Reserve Bank and knew Gary from his many visits here. He was always very much the gentleman and such a pleasant person. The entire Weintraub family will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Gary will always stay in our hearts. Trilling and Oppenheim Families
