Read MoreI had just googled Gary's name to see if he was still practicing and was extremely sad to learning of his early passing. Gary was my chief resident at North Shore many years ago and I still remember his fair and excellent leadership he displayed in that role. May his memory be for good .

Just learned of your passing . Shocked and very saddened to hear this news. He cared for several members of my family and he was the only doctor in the practice we would see. He was extremely kind and very competent. He will be missed by so many. My condolences to the family.

I have been a patient of Dr Weissman's since 2008 when I was extremely ill with a gastric bacteria. He was highly recommended by family. I learned with great sadness earlier today of the passing of Dr. Weissman during a medical visit at ProHealth Gastroenterology. I was shocked & immediately burst into tears as I couldn't believe it was so.

Today I learned of Dr Weisman' s passing from my PCP. I was shocked, saddened and could not prevent the tears that fell. I respected Dr Weissman and during the time he was ill and not seeing patients I would not go to anyone else. I waited for him to return for one reason.......I Trusted Him.
There are no words to take away the pain and loss his family feels. I just hope they know that Dr Gary Weissman was a man greatly respected, trusted and loved by many.
