Gary Dean Wofford

I loved my Daddy, so much. Most people know this, but in case you don't my Dad had a nickname for just about everyone. Mine was "Mertle Lucille McGillicutty" and he called me "Mert" for short. I can't remember him ever calling me Jana, I was just always Mert to him. I'll miss hearing him call me that so much. I was always a Daddy's girl and he made me feel special in so many ways, but that nickname stands out in my memory of him. It represents the mix of love and humor and fun-loving spirit...

Our prayers are with Darla. I know she has been through the worse loss with loosing her son and now her husband. God takes his own back but leaves us with the pain. God bless and deepest sympathy. DeLo and Wayne Bookout

I feel like Gary was more than a friend.He was more like a brother.I have known him for over 45 yrs.We went to the same highschool,were in the National Guard together.We worked together for 30 yrs on the railroad.I have many wonderful memories of being at deer camp with Gary and his brothers and dad Earl.My family will miss him very much.
