Not sure what to say?

My bigbrother Gary I always remember him in my heart. No better brother could a girl have had. Truly missing you...

Bob and I were both shocked and saddened to hear about Gary's passing. He was always such a kind and caring person. Ironically only a few days prior to hearing of his death, I had asked Bob if he had heard from him. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Major Woodward was an outstanding commander of the 178th Weapons Systems Security Flight at a time when I was his squadron (178th Mission Support Squadron) commander. He enlisted in 1967 and I enlisted in 1965. We were both lucky to be in the Ohio Air National Guard at the Springfield Municipal Airport for more than 20 years. He was a "role model" officer and a gentle man.

Gary was a very nice person,, he always had and smile and always went out of his way to help.. He will be missed by many.

"Major" Woodward was my first Commander when I joined the Air National Guard. He was a good man, fair and kind. Sincere condolences to the family.

GARY WAS ALWAYS A GOOD FRIEND I HAVE KNOWN FOR MANY YEARS. HE HAD AN INSPIRING PERSONALITY AND ALWAYS A SMILE. HE WILL BE MISSED

Gary was my boss when I was the manager of the Bank One (now Chase) Area B Office at WPAFB. I really enjoyed working for and with him during the time we shared the same office. He had the biggest smile and the kindest heart. So sorry to hear of his passing. He will be greatly missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with Diana and the family in the loss of their loved one.

I worked with Gary at the Springfield ANG base and he was always professional and respectful of everyone. I am saddened to hear of his death. Your family is in my prayers at this difficult time.
