I was a couple years younger than Joe and played football with him and his brother, Dave at St. Norbert.
Gary Joe (#82) was one tough player and a great teammate.
He sure did welcome this under-sized player to the team and I learned a lot from him.

Rest In Peace my friend. We bought Joe’s house on Wintergreen. Was always going to have him over. Lessened learned to never put off til tomorrow as it isn’t guaranteed. Will keep him in my rosary.
