Gary Wright was a dedicated and faithful servant to his family and friends. He was my mentor and the reason that I moveed to Burlington, NC 21 years ago.He was a great leader and all of the Shoffner Industries employees are forever indebted to him. He was my dear friend and I love his family very much.

I was so very blessed to have known and worked for Gary. He taught me so much during my time of working for him. I admired him and his commitment to his family and his work ethic. He was always there to listen when you needed him for advice or friendship. He will truly be missed. Gary was very instrumental in my move to Burlington in late 2000. I worked very closely with him for the next couple of years. He was so gracious and patient with his time. He also always knew when it was time to stop working and go spend time with your family. Nothing in life meant more to him then his family. He did not measure his success by what he accomplished at work even though he touched the lives of so many through the leadership and examples he set while at work. But when it...

I was fortunate to work for Gary for 18 years until his retirement in 2001. He was a great businessman, but it is his devotion to his family that I will always remember. The driving force in his life was to provide and care for his wonderful family . I'll always remember how his eyes would light up with joy and love when speaking of Laura, Matt, and Adam. "Proud" and "loving" does not begin to describe how strongly Gary cared for them.
