Everyone will remember Gary as a great 8th grade quarterback, crab soccer player (gym class), golfer, sax player in marching band and a rock band, and airplane and glider pilot -- who walked away from a crash. The guy was just good at everything. And he had a good heart. He was good to everybody. He helped me out, or tried to, lots of times. Just a tremendously gifted person. Then he took all that success out west, and before you know it forty years rolls past and an old friend has come back...
