Not sure what to say?

A popular and friendly Man, who needs to be added to Find-a-grave-
Memorial on line. Thanks, He was loved by many.

I hope to think that Gatewood would approve the election of Donald Trump as President. I KNOW that Gatewood is in Heaven right now, maybe having a conversation with GOD or many of the other true believers up there. (Which includes Christians, Jews, Muslims, and all kinds of other religions of people and Atheists, too.)

What an amazing man, a champion of the 1st and 2nd Amendments, a hedge against both the Democrats and Republicans in Frankfort, never a challenge could this man not come against and not win.

One of the most honest men that I had the privilege of knowing. He said to me, " Carl, you know why I can't be elected as governor. He said I will not lie to the people. They don't want an honest man." You will be missed by me and many others. I believe I will see you again someday.

Gatewood, by now you know that your efforts to promote industrial hemp have borne fruit. You have truly helped heal the planet. We miss you, but all will remember and respect you for your honesty and hard work.

Gatewood, How I miss You, My Old Friend. I the other day heard a collage student tell me. That he was going to write your name in as his chose for governor in the 2015 Election. What a Great idea this young man had. I plan on writing in Gatewood Galbraith in 2015 for Governor also. Let's Make a Statement and Never let Your Soul of Great Idea perish. I Love You, Gatewood and will always write You in for Governor no mater what state I am in. You always were the better man.
Love, Dan...

Just learned of Gatewood's passing. We met him at the 1990 NORML conference and were so inspired that we made it a point to drive by his office building in Lexington on our way home to Oklahoma. Coincidentally, about a month ago I brought out my framed copy of the newsprint gubernatorial campaign thing. So glad I still have it, so sorry he's now gone.

"Hit 'em with the truth!".

Thinking of you as the election gets closer, just once would love to have seen you elected as governor!

You always had time to stop and listen.
