Gavin Alan Charles McClain

I was not fortunate enough to ever meet Gavin, but I have become friends with his father Ryan over the past few years, and if Gavin was anything like his father, I wish I could have met him. To Gavin, I know you are missed by many, and to Ryan, he will always be with you. Just wanted you to know I was thinking about the both of you !!!

My sincerest heartfelt condolences to Gavin's family and to all who knew and loved him. I happened upon Gavin's obituary through a friend on Facebook who lost her daughter to Osteosarcoma a few years back. Sadness overcomes me at the thought of young lives with such promise for the future being lost to these deadly diseases. The tribute here to Gavin was beautifully scribed. It gave me a glimpse into the life of a young man gone far too soon. May all of you find peace, hope and comfort...
