Not sure what to say?

Mrs Farnsworth taught me that learning is fun, and is the woman who taught me the importance of reading and never giving up. I'm so sorry for your loss, as you lost an extremely special woman who impacted thousands of people.

Dear Mrs. Gibbs and Gene,

What a wonderful gift Gay was to the world! Her faith in Our Lord, good works, gentle nature and generous, happy heart are the legacy she has left us. How fortunate I am to have called Gay my friend.

Gene, your eulogy was truly amazing. Your words and Gay’s life have inspired me to do more with mine.

Mrs. Gibbs, I remember meeting you at the Fort Worth Club, perhaps last Easter or on an equally happy occasion. You must be enormously proud of...

Dear Maud and Gene,
Seeing Gay at the Pi Alpha Reunion that she so beautifully organized is such a special memory. She truly had not changed one bit since our Baylor days! Maud, I had a chance to visit with you that weekend and you shared how Gay wanted this to be a joyful time and not focused on her illness. She certainly lit up the weekend with her love and joy. I suspect she's already spotted a place for our Pi Alpha reunion in Glory. "A sunset on earth is a sunrise in Heaven." Esp....

Oh my gosh Gay!
I returned home from a dear friend's memorial service in New York to find that you had died. I found that so hard to believe and still do!
I am so very glad I was there earlier this year when you were honored by Fort Worth Magazine as one of three top volunteers in Tarrant County. What a well deserved honor! That was the last time I saw you. I remember giving you a big hug and your thanking me for being there in your support.

I am so sad to hear this. She was one of my favorite teachers at Wimbish in the early 80s. She was greatly loved & I will miss her.

Dear Gene,
Our lives will never be the same without her, but our lives are so much better for knowing her.
Jay and I are thinking & praying for you during this great loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I was one of her many students. I also learned of all her amazing contributions to Arlington and Junior League upon joining in 2006.

Gene, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Maud and Gene, I am so sorry this has happened. I had no idea. I am moving back home soon and was looking forward to seeing her again. I will think of the good times like when this little boy caught her garter belt at her wedding and all the ladies got mad at me and hanging out in her Baylor Bears bathroom in Glen Rose. I'm still wondering, after 30+ years, what was really inside her locked play house outside haha. She was there for me on the worst day of my life in 1980 and I will never forget.
