Not sure what to say?

We are so sorry to learn of Gaye's passing. We always enjoyed our chats with Gaye when we would cross paths. We will sincerely miss her. Condolences to Dan and Gaye's entire family.

from Ron Schmitt.....sorry I could not attend but we have a house full of company for a big wedding on Saturday and a sister who just had cancer surgery (hopefully successful). Dan-- one day at a time and I am so sorry! Hello to Mike and Erin from a teacher LONG time ago

We have enjoyed 60 years of friendship. We met in college, we attended each other's weddings, we raised our children together, we grew old together. Saying goodbye is just too hard!

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. My sympathies to you Dan and your family I have fond memories of Gaye has an aquintance and my teacher at MCC. May she rest in peace until we meet again.

I am so very sorry for your loss. My Senior year was Gaye's first year of teaching and I was her student secretary. She was so kind and so much fun! She had a wonderful sense of humor. I enjoyed exchanging Christmas cards with her all these years. May the happy memories of your life together ease the pain of the sad days.

Worked with Gaye at MCC-always a delight!

Gaye's passing reminded me of Emily Dickinson's poem which begins, "Because I could not stop for Death [since Gaye was enjoying the vibrancy and fullness of life with her family], He kindly stopped for me [on her journey to salvation and immortality]. We too are on that journey and Gaye awaits our arrival. As I read the poem I remembered Gaye's sense of humor and smile which we will see again. Roderick and Patricia Boland Bergin

What a great person! She had such a wonderful personality and a great sense of humor. I was lucky enough to work with her and also take classes with her. I am sorry for your loss.

Oh so many memories working with Gaye at MCC! Her dedication to students was non stop even bringing lessons to a hospitalized student. Although a serious teacher, her personality brought out alot of humor and laughter. Rest in peace dear Gaye
