Not sure what to say?

Just heard about Gayle's death. What a shock. I suspect everyone he knew though he would live forever he was such a big personality. I was on the board of the Virginia Run Homeowner's Association with Gayle. He worked hard and, among other things, saved the land the current James mcDonnell Rec site is on as well as had the idea and started the first VR Turkey Trot. He told me his trick of living was to always have something to look forward to. I hope it worked to the very end.

Gayle was a wonderful man. He was always willing to share his experiences and expertise. His twinkling eyes and great smile greeted me each morning when I was at KW Chantillyhe was a kind, caring gentleman. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Gayle will truly be remembered as an icon to the real estate industry and a heartfelt teacher to many. Rest In Peace my friend!❤

So remember well in Louisville you Bonnie invited me to your new home for a superb Sunday meal. Bonnie was one of my first friends to own a home so it was a huge deal. You always treated me with fun welcomes when I saw you.

Great friend and long time neighbor. Many fond memories on the circle as one of the originals while we raised our families and lived life to the fullest. You will be missed my friend. A warrior to the end that embraced life and never let them see you sweat. We are all better people for getting to know the real Gayle. Love Jim and Lisa

Gayle was a good man, friend and brother. I’m sorry we lost contact with each other for 50 years until January 11, 2020, at the Sigma Chi Eta Alpha reunion. Sincerest condolences to Bonnie, the children and grandchildren.
