Not sure what to say?

I am saddened to learn of the passing of Ambassador Brown. She was truly a phenomenal woman. My heartfelt condolences go out to her extended family and especially to Nellie Brown whom I have had the pleasure to call Mom!

My condolences to the family of an amazing light. Even during her challenging moments she encouraged me and challenged me to pursue my dreams! We had some amazing moments of prayer as we both endured the same medical journey. Thank you ambassador for being an amazing diplomat for our country and an awesome ambassador for Christ. You will be missed. With Love

Our hearts are heavy and our lives empty without you. Your were a great friend and the Boone family will cherish our too brief time together. The warmth of your smile and basic kindness of character will be missed - deeply. We love you.

Ambassador Brown was an active members of our church fellowship during her stay in Pretoria. John and I have fond memories of her and mother Nellie celebrating with us at our 20th wedding anniversary. She was a mentor to my son, Tristan, and as such was instrumental in his entrance into the US foreign service. She was a beautiful human being, and will no doubt be missed by all the lives she touched in South Africa and around the world. Our deepest condolences to Curtis and Mrs. Nellie.

I certainly want to offer my condolences to the family. Ambassador Brown was an outstanding diplomat and a wonderful person. I had the opportunity of seeing her in action in Benin! Indeed she will be missed by all.

Sad to hear another Ivy over the wall. My dear soror who lit the world with soft spoken dignity. You represented our people well. THANK YOU.

I can never believe the departure of the Ambassador Gayletha B. Brown. I had a heart trouble as I read that she passed by, one year ago. I believe her soul is resting now in Abraham's bosom. May all the U.S. and all her familiy and relatives be comforted.
