We are thinking of you all during this anniversary of Geena's passing. She is a good soul, and that part of her will always be with us. She saw the face of God in everyone and brought love into so many lives.

I will always remember Geena as a kind and loving friend who has taught me so much over the years. I have many fond memories of time we spent together – play dates, bible studies, scrap booking, coffee dates and many heartfelt conversations. Her exuberant joy over the simplest things was contagious. Her dedication to her family was amazing. Her ability to create a beautiful and welcoming home was inspiring. Geena was the kind of friend that loved with all her heart. I have been blessed...

As difficult as it is to find the words, I guess I’ll just say that I knew Geena as a beautiful, talented, caring and loving person who will be missed by many. When I’d hear the words of my brother Greg as he often spoke of her, all I can say is our loss is heavens gain. My prayer is for Greg and his family that the Holy Spirit will provide comfort and peace as they walk this path as He has promised to do. My Beloved Niece GG, I prayed constantly for your comfort during your illness. I know in my heart that GOD helped you through all this even though to all of us we felt you were suffering with pain, but we tend to forget that GOD is and always will be incharge and he does not allow HIS special ANGELS to suffer. It's at times like this that we must remember to GLORIFY HIS most HOLY NAME and thank HIM for giving to us, her family and friends the best fifty-eight years we ever have. GG, thank...

If you knew Geena, I'm sure you can hear and see her so vividly rushing into the arms of our Savior with delight. Lightly clapping her hands...so good...so good! Probably with a squeal of joy and the fiercest of hugs. We can take great comfort knowing that this Angel is now a Saint watching over us, praying for us, and most of all loving us. Eternal rest our beloved friend.

Geena, you are a beautiful spirit. Thank you for sharing your love with everyone around you and everyone you met. You have touched so many lives in such a positive way.

I remember the first time my daughter met you, we were having dinner at Javier's with the gang, and she came away just gushing about how nice you were - it really made an impression. And that repeated each time we got together.
