Not sure what to say?

Remembering our dear friend...Gene's contagious smile, his beautiful singing voice and musical talents, his laughter that endeared him to all, the compassion he shared with his patients and families, great dedicated physician and mentor whose legacy continues, and shared memories that we will cherish for always. Our thoughts and love to Shirley, Anne, Steve, Jim and their families as Christmas approaches. Celebrate Gene and the gift of memories that touched so many of us during his time...

What a special person! He was our physician and friend. He sang at our daughter's wedding. He will be missed!

My deepest condolences to Shirley and the entire family. I knew Dr. Barber as a teacher, colleague and patient and considered him a man amount men and value the memories I have of the time we shared together. He was generous with his knowledge and time and I deeply appreciate him.

Offering our sincere condolences to the family during this time of deep sorrow. Commendations on your distinguished wartime service during the Korean War. From: MHS, Lt. Col., USA (ret). Godspeed.

Our sincere condolences to the Barbour Family. Dr Barbour was my mother´s doctor for many years (Pauline Kowalski). He helped her very much. Even after she moved out of the area, she came in for her appointments. Prayers for comfort for the family.

Thinking of you as visitation and the service begins. Our hearts are with you as we extend our love and prayers. I picture Gene singing as the music is lifted up to honor him and his remarkable life today. Our heartfelt and deepest sympathy to Shirley and all of the family.
