Not sure what to say?

I was sad to learn of Gene's death. Although I have not had contact with Gene since high school, I have many fond memories of our summers swimming at Heil Pool. He was a good friend then, and it sounds like he continued being a good friend to many others throughout his life.

Sue
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
May you find comfort in remembering the enjoyable times you spent together.

I graduated with Gene and he will be missed. My deepest condolence and prayers to the family.

Sue,
I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Gene a long time through church and through my brother Dave. He was a nice
man and he will be missed. He is in heaven now with his sister and parents. Peace be with you.

Dear Sue and all the Bechtel Family,
It saddens our hearts to hear of Gene's passing. What a
great person! I spent a lot of time with his family and was
always considered one of them. We had great times
at his family home on Grant St. where I also lived.
There are many memories of Gene and I know each of
us will keep them in our hearts and mind forever. May
God give you strength and courage in the days ahead
and always.
With deepest sympathy,
Walt Strohe...

Sue, my deepest sympathies on your loss. I will say a prayer for you.
