Dearest Gayle,

I am so sad to hear that your sweet mom has passed away. She was always such a fun person who had such a zest for life. I remember the first time I met her was at the swimming pool when I was visiting my mom & dad. My parents thought the world of both your mom & dad. Please know that you are in my heart & in my prayers in these difficult days ahead.

I am so sorry to hear about your Mom - I have to find some way to tell my mom - she will be so sad. Please take care and know that your mom and mine had some wonderful times together - I'm so sorry they weren't able to say goodbye. Kathleen Malone (daughter of LaNelle Carleton.)

Mrs.Parks, I was very sorry to hear of the homegoing of "Mother" as she was fondly called. I know that she will be missed. We love you and are thinking of you during this time.

I am saddened to hear of Gene's death, but am still remembering her at church and the fairly recent Alaska trip when she hosted a party and we shared an "apertif"- you know that was her word. She is already being missed by those who grew up knowing and caring for her.I love you. Andy Keith
