I send my condolences to the Colgate children and extended family for the loss of their lovely parents. I knew them for years when I worked with them at Truman Christ Insurance. They were a lovely and nice couple, always very polite and respectful. Something you don't always get in that kind of business.

I was so flushed with memories when I saw this in the paper. I was very fortunate to know the both of them but was much more familiar with Gene and spent many hours with him. He came to Dr. Fawcett's office where I was the nurse for 15 years. At first ( was young) I was intimidated by him deep booming voice and wondered if I would be able to survive him. Betty usually came along since she didn't drive and I was always thrilled to see them. I would often run into them at the grocery store and...
