Gene Daugherty

Gene you were one of my favorite people, always had a smile and a way to bring that into my day. Loved your daily visits into the office and I will always remember your stories. I was blessed to have you in my life for even a short period of time.

So sorry for your loss. Gene will live forever in the hearts and memories of those who knew and loved him. Our thoughts and our prayers are with you and your family

So sorry to hear this. Gene was such a character! He always had a smile and a story. Such a loss to the whole community. My thoughts and prayers for the entire family. He will be sorely missed, but image the party for all those he will be reunited with!

What a shock when I saw Gene's obituary. Guess I thought he was one that would live forever as he was in good health when I left. Such good memories of our Adel Historical Society serving food back in the 70's for Gene's auctions in chicken houses or where ever we could find a spot, to my auction when Kelley was calling one of his first auctions to the several auctions Dick had and the many other auctions we attended. My sympthay and prayers to you boys he'll be missed in many ways.

My sincere condolensences to the family of a man who I admired immensely. Anytime I had a chance to visit with him, there was always a genuine sincerity in his words, but especially in his eyes. The eyes truly are the window to a person's soul and Gene Daugherty was a very good man! My deepest sympathy and God Bless you all.
