Gene Douglas

You were a dad to me when I had never had one. You and Mom taught me so much and were there for me in so many ways. I have thought of you often throughout the years and missed you deeply. My heart has always had a home with the Douglas family and my whole heart breaks for you at this time.

What a reunion that must have been on Christmas.

We are so sad at the loss of the best great-grandpa any kid could ever imagine. We are very thankful for all the time that Serenity and Aiden got to share with you both, and hope that they can continue to spread love and joy in Lil's life.

I will miss you my favorite Uncle I hope there are cards you in heaven if not you could always sing and what blessing that would be!
