I remember Gene as the Principal of Stockdale Elementary when we first moved from Fresno to Bakersfield. He was always smiling, a pleasant person to work with and being on the parent club during his tenure was a joy. I met a lot of wonderful people at Stockdale Elementary and recall those days with fondness. Many will be sad to hear of Gene's passing. May God Bless him
