Gene Gloria Fisher

Some of my favorite childhood memories were of driving to Grandma Gene's house on Halloween. She would smother us with some goodie and then Derrick and I would hit the streets! Candy and terror! I think of Gene every Halloween. May her memory be a blessing to all that knew her.

Gene was such a big part of our family and the huge love shw had for our youngest daughter Sophie. Sophie just adored Gene and thought the Sun set and rose with her. She eagerly waited for each and every letter, note and card that their pen pal friendship developed. Sophie eagerly picked out cards and paper to return those letters telling Gene about her adventures in school choir and dance and filled them with teenage girl things that Gene just loved to hear about. Our hearts go out to your family. Gene was such a fun, loving woman! We enjoyed spending time with her at birthday and Halloween parties through the years. She always had an interesting story to tell and a sparkle in her eye. We even got to see her play her violin! We will miss her! God bless you all!
