Not sure what to say?

Dear Gene, You were such a huge part of my life when we were growing up in Newport News and remained friends all of our lives. I still miss you. Best wishes to all your family, Sandra Bullock Shortridge

May you be playing the bells in Heaven.

Pauline aand Gene's S.C family - I hope that the memories of her love for life will help you get through the sad days you may face. I just couldn't believe that she had left a message for all of us on Facebook. I read it shortly after I found out she had left us. But that was Gene, looking out for others. God bless you and be with you all - Lorena Elder Smith, NNHS Class of '60 and 62nd Street friend

I had the privilege to work with Gene over the years. It is her smile and great faith that I will remember and cherish! One of my fondest memories is her performance on King Street during Christmas when my daughter was very young.
May God give you His Love, Peace and Comfort during the days ahead.

Billy and I are so sad to learn of Gene Temple's death. She fought long and hard against a devil of a desease. She is to be applauded for her efforts to teach all about this terrible foe.

Pauline, you and your family have our deepest sympathy and prayers at this time.

Love, Nancy and Billy Wynne

I am saddened by the loss of such a wonderful person. Gene was loved by everyone who ever met her. She will be missed. Dick - you are in our thoughts and prayers. Mary, Marcus and Katie

Dear Glave Family,
Thanks so much for sharing such a special nurse, woman, actress and animal lover with me. God Bless you all. Love, Becky Shehane, RNC

Gene, you were the best wife I ever had. you put up with all the jokes I pulled on you on stage. You Laughed when I wouldn't show up on time on stage and I had left you hanging, there is no better friend then a friend who can have fun with you on stage, after all when it stops being fun its time to quit. I will miss you, but I know you have already set up a theater in heaven and are in rehearsal for the grandest play of all. It will be called "GENE'S ASCENSION INTO HEAVEN" Staring Gene...

My sincere condolences to the entire family of Gene Temple Collins Glave. As a childhood friend, I will always remember her warm and kind personality.
