Not sure what to say?

On behalf of Gene's entire family, I want to thank everyone for their love, thoughts, concerns, prayers and support during this difficult time. We are all blessed to have had Dad in our lives and fortunate to have each of you as friends, neighbors, family and loved ones.

I had the pleasure of knowing the Greers when they attended Bible Fellowship Church. Their cheerful smiles and warm hospitality were sorely missed when their health prevented them from serving as much as they desired. Tunie's memorial was so wonderful and I was blessed to greet Gene one more time. Heaven's gain is our loss.

I want to thank the family of Gene for allowing me to share in the joy of knowing him. I am a teacher of exercise and had Gene in my Parkinson's Disease exercise class for several months and spent a lot of that time laughing with him and the others as he was so quick to add comments that would tickle us, no end. I can just imagine him as a young man with those beautiful eyes, smile and quick wit to get him through most anything. He will be missed by me for a long time. Thank you.

Todd:
I came to love your mother and father in the years since Jackie and I got back together. Both were great people who always made me feel like part of the family.
May God bless you with strength and comfort.

Todd:
We, as cousins, are a tough group. I want you to know how much I care for you just as I did your mother and father. I will miss them both tremendously, and look forward to the days and times we will spend together in the future.

Love, Jackie

To The Family, I would like to say that I am very sorry for the loss of your dad. Gene was such a great person to talk to and listen to. My name is Kathy and I cut his hair at supercuts then he followed me to Fantastic Sams. You were all blessed to have such a great dad. He told me what a pretty wife he had and a great family. Again sorry for your loss. Kathy Knauss
