Not sure what to say?

Mr. Gene LeBell (RIP) his robust sense of humor, combined with his unmatched martial skills made him see the world as it is, with a father-like-demeanor. No sugar coating. Blessings to his family. Hondo The Peaceful Headhunter

Rest in peace my friend.

I was so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. He was my father's first cousin. When I think of Gene, I think of a toasted marshmallow -- gruff and a little beat up on the outside, but sweet and mushy on the inside. He will be missed. Condolences to all that knew and loved him.

I am truly sadden to hear of the loss of Jean LaBelle a true legend who I had the honor and pleasure of working with while wrestling in California in 1979. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, may God bless you all

My Deepest Condolances to Midge and Family.
I also knew Gene through the Wrestling business, as a writer and photographer plying my trade at The Olympic for many years. I also met him at his Martial Arts Studio with Gokor.
My son also met him later in his life, as a referee at MMA events. He was very humble.

Gene was a genuine human being and a funny and heartwarming at the same time. A true master of many trades and a pleasure to work with.

May Gene rest in...

My condolences.

To Midge and Family,
Truly a tremendous loss to the grappling fraternity, Martial Arts World and Hollywood Elite. Gene was one of a kind. A generous shirt off his back kind of guy. From motorcycles to movies he did it all. It was an honor to know him and fun to work with as I did on Championship Wrestling TV on Channel 13. My deepest condolences to his family and very close friends at this hard time.
