sorry I got the dates mixed up for the service...you are in my thoughts, gene was a special man

Lisa, I am so sorry for your loss.

Ruthie, we are saddened to learn of Gene's passing but we know there's a great reunion in heaven of McCracken cousins--JoAnna, John, Gene and Rich. We will continue to remember you and Lisa in thought and prayer.

Ruthie, I am so sorry for your loss, little did you and I know that we would lose Gene and Richard two days apart. Richard passed away on Sunday the 24th. Imagine how surprised he was when he walked through heavens gates and saw his cousin Gene there......and one day we will join them. Our family enjoyed spending time with you last year at Peggy's. We are so thankful for those memories and I see that Mike has posted the photo.

The McCracken "Clan"

T'was a pleasure and privilege to be a colleague of Gene McCracken. Gene and Ruth were a delight to be around, from our St. Andrews Banquets to oysters at Tomales Bay, Gene was a champion reciting Burns: "Address to a Haggis" or shucking oysters.
Aye Gene an weel hav a wee deoch an doris befor we gang awa!

Gene, Lad, Here is a candle to light the way. We will miss you. Sending love to you and your family.

Dear Lisa and Ruth,
It was my pleasure to meet your father and husband. He was welcoming, friendly and had a warm sense of humor. I am glad I had an opportunity to meet him and feel the joy he exuded. I am profoundly sorry for your sudden loss and I hope that your wonderful memories will lift your spirits and carry you forward. With love, Grace Sorg
