Dr. Gene Morris

I am just discovering that Rev. Gene Morris and Mrs. Lorene Morris are with the Lord. I have never a finer, kinder couple in my life. I met them as a young man in Cleveland. They welcomed me into their house and I occasionally attended services at the Maranatha Bible Church. Rev. Morris could sure deliver a fine sermon! I will miss them both very much.

words can't express how much we will miss you. Your love for the Lord shone through to everyone you met. You trials here are over and we are rejoicing that you are safe in the arms of Jesus. Pastor Gene Morris was a tremendous blessing to the Williams family. He was there when my mother Mae C. Williams went home to glory and he did the eulogy at my
sister Sarah's home going. He will be missed but never forgotten. Praying for the family.

Many years ago, I had the privledge of meeting Dr. Morris when our churches(First Baptist of Warrensville) combined until Dr. Morris church was completed(Marantha Bible). Dr. Morris gift of God's word inspired me in my christian walk. I was truly blessed to have known him. JoAnn Robinson-Wright at that time.

He always asked me how I was doing and what he could pray for me. Then he would remember the next time I saw him and ask me how things were going. He was a great man of God and will be missed by many. May God bless his family during this time. I will miss seeing him in church.
