Gene was a wonderful family friend and fellow choir member in the First Presbyterian Church. I remember his sense of humor, big grin, and ability and willingness to take on any community task. The last time I saw him was at our house in Wichita for my dad's 80th birthday celebration. He and my dad were great friends. I will miss them both.
