Gene was a long time family friend, begining with aunt, Dessie (Robinson) Moody, who used to babysit Gene and his brother. Gene was key with helping me with my disability rating from military. He was a great Congressman and a wondeful man. He will be sorely missed.

For 12 years my wife, Maureen, and I have been neighbors. We have enjoyed fellowship and banter with a really great man whom we respected a lot. His appreciation for simple logic was pure. We shared his faith in God. Our prayers go out to Pat, his wife and our friend, and to all those who loved him.
