Not sure what to say?

My codolences to the Spathas family in a time of loss. I will always remember his dedication to his family and business. I will never forget swimming in the home pool with Matt and friends. I could only fit into Gene's trunks. God bless

Dr. John Spathas, this is Sharon D.R. Gray. You hired me in 1975 as Sharon D.R. Green. I'm very sorry for the passing of your brother. I've suffered the passing of my father, but not yet a sibling. Treasure positive memories of your brother and push aside any regrets. Respectfully and in sympathy Sharon.

Gene gave me my first job at the Kitchen Kettle. I washed dishes for less than $2/hour, but at 15, I felt like I was rich!
Man, I can still taste the food from that old place.
I also know Gene through his son, Matt. They had the coolest house in the neighborhood, because it had a loft space over the livingroom and a pool. And we played together on the Kitchen Kettle baseball team in Little League. He was always warm and gracious to us.

Even though we heard them hundreds of times over the years, we could never wait to hear him tell them again as there was always a...

It has been a true privilege and each day with him was a different experience, you never knew what he would do or say next. Our Greece trip with him would not have been the same with out him. I am so glad that he was able to make the vacation.
I honestly think that he is one person I...
