To the Sturm Families

With Sympathy in the Loss of Gene

He gave the gift of laughter
and dried his share of tears.
He left his mark on many lives
Throughout his Goodyear years.
He spread a lot of love around
He shed a world of light.
And in the memories he left
His spirit will always shine bright.

Wishing you the light of love, the warmth of memories, and the comfort of knowing Gene will be remembered by his schoolmates and alumni of Akron East...

Dear Freeda and family--our prayers and thoughts are with you. I knew Gene from grade school and high school and remember his red hair--He always had a smile on his face when he came in to the title bureau and I remember him from there most recently--well about 10 years ago. Your family will always be in our prayers. Know that he is now at peace sitting up there on some big fluffy cloud looking down on us.

I was so sorry to hear about your father. He has left me with many good memories. My thoughts are with you all.

Dear Freeda, Kathy, Karla, Kenny and family,

I am so sorry for your loss. I know that Gene is in heaven with Daddy, Grandma, Grandad and all the rest of the Ferrells/McDougals, watching over us. I wish I could say some words of comfort. Just know that I am thinking of you and praying for your peace.

Love, Judy McDougal (John's eldest daughter)

Kathy, Kenny, Karla:
I am so sorry...My heart goes out to you and yours. The Sturms have a very special place in my memories.
Take care and know that loving thoughts are with you. Cousin Nancy Ferrell Stiver (Uncle Floyd)

Dear Kathy, Kenny, Karla, and Family,
We were so saddened to hear about your dad's passing. He was a very important part of our lives and we think of him with love and respect so often. He will be missed tremendously. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Janie Stewart, Carla, Savannah, and Ian Hurt

Dear Kathy, Karla and Kenny,

We are so truly sorry about your Dad's passing and extend our deepest sympathy to you and your entire family. Gene was a great guy, good friend and wonderful neighbor who was always willing to lend a helping hand.

We have many good memories of him during the 34 years we lived next door to each other and will always remember the fun times we had at neighborhood gargage sales and cookouts as well as when Karla and Kenny still lived at home. Our kids...
