Not sure what to say?

As Gene's pastor, he always welcomed me warmly. I remember early visits when he and Dodie were still in their home on Jacobs Street. I loved his stories and his chuckle and was touched by his love for his family. Also when we prayed he was very reverent and seemd moved by the Presence of God. On behalf of Zwingli UCC we pray you will find comfort and peace and consolation that he is safe with God and Dodie.

Dear Stan, Karen,Matt and Jessie, We are very sorry for your loss. I know it has been a tough year for all of you. May you find comfort in knowing you did all that you could. Also, may the wonderful memories of your Dad live on in your hearts in the coming years. Sincerely, Diane and Dave

Our thoughts are with you during this sad time.
We attended School in East Berlin with Doc and Dodie too.
We will always remember this happy couple!

Kim: We are saddened to hear about the passing of your friend, Doc. He was a unique character and we enjoyed his many stories when we visited your shop. He life is now complete, because he is with Dodie and no longer in pain. You did all you could in your power to help him and Dodie for many years, and may that thought give you peace.

So sorry to hear about Uncle Gene's death. We were just contacted by someone who said they saw it in the paper. He and Aunt Dodie were very special and loved dearly. Wanda (Niece)
