Gene Tanner, 68, of Russellville, Arkansas, a U.S. Army veteran, owner and operator of The Color Center, died at V.A. Regional Medical Center in North Little Rock on Friday, February 7, 2003. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 10, 2003, 6-8 p.m., at Humphrey Funeral Services, Inc., 2801 West Main Street, Russellville. Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday, February 11, 1 p.m., at Shiloh Cemetery, Bonnerdale, Arkansas. Memorial donations are appreciated to Alzheimers Disease Related Disorder Institute, 911 North Michigan, Suite 1100, Chicago, IL 60611-1676. Arrangements entrusted to Humphrey Funeral Services, Inc., Russellville, Arkansas.

Dearests Joy,Tony, Tim and wives. Gene was such a good brother to us and son to our parents. I am sorry his grandbabies lost him so early, but they will always know what a wonderful set of grandparents they have. We love you, John and Rosemary

Gene was a very fine Christian man. He was a wonderful dad-in-law to our daughter Terri. Our prayers are with you all.

His wonderful personality and example as a Christian man, his soft-spoken voice,and big smile will always be remembered. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.
