I am so sorry to hear about the death of my cousin, Gene. Gene was 6 years older than me and I remember him so well as a little girl and him helping me learn to ride my bike. As I became a young teenager, I thought Gene was so handsome and looked forward to seeing him when we came back from Virginia to visit. But, alas, time flies, and we all grow up and away. Azele--Gene was one of my favorite cousins. He was 14 years older than me. When I was a little girl I looked up to him (most people did). He took me to the movies once when I was about 11 years old--I was so excited! He really surprised me at Miranda's wedding with his talent on the dance floor. Even the turkeys of South Carolina must be mourning the loss of such a worthy adversary! I will always remember him fondly. Gene was a great guy and a kind person--I know you will miss him...
