I remember Dr. Usdin from his classes at Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans in the mid 1960s. He was a good teacher.

So very sorry to learn of Gene's passing; we remember the Usdin's family department store on St. George Street with fond memories. Our sincere condolences to his family, friends, business associates and all who knew him. He will be missed.

I was sorry to hear about your father's passing. I always enjoyed talking to him when I would see him walking his dog or getting the paper in the morning. I have fond memories of him taking the entire neighborhood for snowballs. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Cathy, Linda, Stephen (Stevie), and Tommy,
On behalf of the Caffery's may I say how much your entire family has touched ours. We truly grew up together, and had many, many great times with you and Cecile and Gene. Gene's smiles, sparkling eyes, and positive/inquisitive attitude towards life will always be a part of me. Our prayers are with you all.
Love you,
