Not sure what to say?

Gene had so many more passions that knew of. I made my glider rating with him as instructor and Excaminer. He put me thru the wringers. As all I will miss him a truly honest man.

GeneOOOOOOOOOOOO. So sad to know you have soared up, up and away. You will never be forgotten for all the kindness you bestowed on myself. Over the last 20 years your friendship meant the world to me you were always there for me. Truly missed. Your kids are awesome reflection of your legacy. Missing you from the bottom of my heart.

I've known Gene since I was a kid-Great guy to have known- Definitely will be missed.

I met Gene in June when he administered my CP-G practical test (checkride). He clearly loved flying and was a great friend to the soaring community. He will be missed!

As a glider flight instructor I had the privilege of meeting Gene because of our mutual love of soaring. Gene was a truly unique individual. He was unassuming and I wish I had known more about Gene while he was still with us.

Gene,
Though we met only once in life at Alberta's place on Long Island, I often thought of you, my brother. I am truly sorry that we didn't have time to get together so I could really get to know you better. Rest in peace.

RIP my brother, you will be missed more than you could ever know.

In the seventies it seemed that everyone was one-of-a-kind, but none more unique than the two we lost recently - Bjarne and now Gene. If you met Gene you would never forget him. What an intriguing guy! And loved by many of us.

Memories of childhood smiles and adult good times shall always remain with us.

Rest in love forever my baby brother Geno
