Not sure what to say?

I think of him with fondness. His intellect, kindness, sense of humor and humility made a unique man. Much respect.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I have very fond memories of the General and my times that I spent with him.

MG Drummond was a hero, a legend, a motivator, a role model, a great thinker, and a friend. I had the great privilege of working for MG Drummond when he ran the U.S. AMSAA at APG, MD. He was our first and only BG, and ran our agency extremely well. He always saw the big picture, and also saw things from a Soldier's perspective. Also, for several years, he accompanied us on our annual Canada Fishing Trip, led by our Pete Reid. MG Drummond was very entertaining and enjoyable to be with. Bottom...

Jim was one of my favorite people!! He was a wonderful Army Officer and true friend. I first met him in 1958 at Ft, Meade, MD. We stayed at his house in 1982 after my son graduated from West Point. My sympathy to all of his family.

The General held a special place in our hearts. He will always be remembered as we watch the sun set on Lake Martin. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jeanne and the family.

Mimi and Diva

I only knew Jim for about a year, but he made a huge impression on me. His courage and tenacity were remarkable. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet him. My deepest sympathy is extended to his family.

MG Drummond was my Division Artillery Commander in Korea from 1977-1978 and III Corps Artillery Commander at Ft Sill from 1979-1980. He was then epitome of a soldier.I talked to him on the phone in April and it was a pleasure to relive old times. Rest in Peace, MG Drummond and thank you for your faithful service and for being a great commander.

Our deepest sympathy to the Drummond family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you!
