General John Patten

Gen Patten was my mentor, advisor and friend. I worked for Gen Patten as an employee in the Veterans Homes Division. He cared about the veterans, their spouses and children. He worked tirelessly to insure their needs were met by opening new veterans homes and upgrading the older ones. It was my honor to have known him. I will miss his sage advice during our yearly lunches. My deepest sympathies to his family. May your great memories sustain you during this difficult time.

A good soldier in every sense of the word and an honor to know. May memories of John be ever present and may his loved ones know the Peace that passes understanding.
